Madison, Wisconsin is the latest setting for the next entry in the annals of footwear-fueled lunacy. A resident of the capital city of the state learned that your sneakers aren’t safe even in your own home.
According to Madison police, cash and five pairs of sneakers valued at more than $800 were stolen from a west side apartment. Police were called to South Gammon Road at approximately 11 p.m. after a 24 year-old woman returned home from work and discovered the front door to her apartment had been kicked in.
Law enforcement indicated that the burglar bypassed valuable electronic goods but took a box containing cash and five pair of Air Jordans.
