North Haven, Connecticut is the setting for our latest edition of what reprobates do when they want sneakers. Local police have released surveillance photograph on social media of a woman who stole 14 pairs of shoes valued at $1,095 from a DSW.
According to police, a woman with long black hair wearing a black tank top and black leggings and slides stole the shoes from the DSW located at 410 Universal Drive North. She removed the shoes from their boxes and hid them in a large, black DSW shopping bag.
She then left the store, triggering the anti-theft alarms as she exited the store. The suspect then got into what employees described as a “gold-colored and Jeep-like” vehicle.
Anyone with information on this heist is asked to contact the North Haven Police.
