Ahuto Dakkid may not be a name to known to those outside of DeKalb County, GA ( and even some within the locale) but the Sheriff’s Office is quite familiar with him.
Dakkid, a local hip hopper whose identified by the government as Eric Jordan Elam, 26, was arrested along with 19-year-old Troy William Fiddes for robbery and assault.
On February 7 the two males are accused of picking up Amir Azad and driving him to Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain. After arriving , they proceeded to pistol whip and robbed Azad of the black and blue Air Jordan’s he was wearing, an iPhone and approximately $100 in cash. Elam and Fiddes left their shoeless victim stranded on Memorial Drive.
Warrants indicated that Azad sustained injuries that required treatment at a hospital.
Mr. Elam was taken into custody without incident on February 18 at a residence in Decatur. Fiddes was apprehended the next day at the same location. Both males were booked into the DeKalb county jail.
Apparently Mr. Azad was not Elam’s maiden trek into the realm of criminality. He was also a wanted man in nearby Cherokee county, where he is accused of shooting and robbing a 24-year-old Kennesaw man. The victim told authorities he was at an apartment to sell Elam a pair of shoes when the shooting happened.
But wait there’s more.
Officials in Cherokee County also charged Elam with armed robbery in connection with an incident that occurred on February 3 where he allegedly robbed a women at gunpoint at a Wal-Mart, making off with her cellular phone and cash.
There is yet more.
Elam was also wanted in Gwinnett County for probation violation.
