When Krissy Cardiff Geraci checked her Ring camera on March 8, she was greeted by the worst thing a parent could ever see- their child being harmed. The video she saw was that of her son, Dominic ’Dom” Geraci being chased around his house by three males in hoodies until one of them pulls out a gun and shot him.
Why was he shot?
His family believes it was over his large Air Jordan collection. His father Anthony Geraci said this to KDKA (PA):
“He’s a shoe collector. He has a good amount of Jordans and collectibles.”
The family also told KDKA that the bullet shattered his ribs, grazed his liver and Dominic has fluid in one of his lungs.
Dominic in serious condition and is still in the ICU and has undergone several surgeries.
The faily has set up a GoFundMe to to help with their son’s mounting medical costs.
Police say no arrests have been made: in hopes of changing that the Geraci family is offering a $2,000 reward for information that results in an arrest.
