- The latest edition of when imbecilic behavior collides with sneakers takes place in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, where the Bensalem Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who reportedly relieved a Sears of some sneakers.

According to police a gentleman entered the Sears in Neshaminy Mall on October 3 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Law enforcement states he removed 16 pairs of shoes from their boxes and placed them in a large blue plastic bag. Dubbed the “Sneaker Bandit” by police say he left the store with $800 to $1,000 worth of shoes without paying. Security confronted him in the parking lot but he managed to evade them. He then got into a silver sedan with New Jersey license plates and drove away.
 
Bensalem police are asking anyone with information on the “Sneaker Bandit” to call them at (215) 633-3719.
