An initial look at the 2023 version of the “Playoff” Air Jordan VIII

The Air Jordan VIII turns 30 in 2023 and in commemoration of that milestone Jordan Brand has wisely decided to re-release the “Playoff” colorway. The returning version of the shoe MJ wore as he and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the 1993 NBA Finals to cap their first three peat seems to be a fairly competent recreation of its forbear. “Paprika” Air Jordan 8 coming this fall

The ”Paprika” Air Jordan 8 started its life off as a children’s sample back in 1993. It never progressed past the sample stage but it appears that will change this fall. Sporting a white, black and red color palette, it eschews the traditional chenille tongue and multi color rear foot overlays for a more standard Jumpman-emblazoned tongue and toothed-patterned overlays, respectively. Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 8 set to release ( again)

The Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 8 is the poster child for the fluid Air Jordan release date. Initially set to debut back in 2021, it was subsequently postponed twice, with dates in February and March having to be aborted. Now, according to reporting from zsneakerheadz, this collaborative Air Jordan 8 has a new release date, and it is right around the corner. As it cuurently stands, the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 8 is now scheduled to begin their maiden retail voyage May 23.
