The timetable for Chicago Bulls’ forward Otto Porter is unknown, according to a report by Eric Woodyard of ESPN. Porter was diagnosed with a left foot sprain and will not play in the Bulls game against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Boylen adds rockets assistant to staff

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Chicago Bulls have hired former Houston Rockets assistant coach Roy Rogers to join Jim Boylen’s staff. Rogers had spent the three previous seasons on Mike D’Antoni’s staff prior to being the second of four staff members who were informed they would not be brought back for the upcoming season. Rogers coaching resume also includes time with the Nets (2013-14 and Washington Wizards, (2014-16) as assistant coaches.

Chicago Bullls small forward Otto Porter will be out for the Chicago Bulls game with the Atlanta Hawks, for the ever-popular “load management”. Since being acquired by the Bulls, in the eight games he has played, he’s averaging 19.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 34.8 minutes per game, all improved numbers from his time with the Washington Wizards, where he posted numbers of 12.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 29.0 minutes per contest.

Rockets trade Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls

As reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Houston Rockets have traded point guard and former Rookie-of-the-Year Micheal Carter-Williams to the Chicago Bulls.
