Already the Chicago Bulls’ 2018-19 season has been a strange journey. Injuries to several key players turned the team into a M.A.S.H. unit which contributed to the team stumbling out of the gate 5-20; it also forced players to take on different roles. Although not how it was planned, Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen will make his season debut tonight against the Houston Rockets.  A Tuesday return for Markkanen had been kicked around inside the Bulls’ organization. Earier today the Chicago Bulls announced that power forward Bobby Portis was diagnosed with a moderate MCL sprain in his right knee and will be out four to six weeks. K.C. .Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine’s night ended a bit earlier than anticipated. Levine suffered a thigh contusion in Wednesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks and did not return.
