Willie Simmons inks extension with FIU

According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, Willie Simmons and FIU have agreed to terms on a new contract.  The new deal includes a raise for Simmons, whose current four-year deal pays him $750,000 per year, upgrades to the assistant salary pool, and the school’s revenue-sharing commitment.  Coach Simmons just wrapped up his first season at FIU. Willie Simmons named head coach at Florida International

Willie Simmons has been tapped as the man to lead FIU.
