For Israel, once again it was no Deni Avdija, no problem, as the Israeli team defeating Georgia,104-96, a trio of 18 point efforts from Yam Madar, Tomer Ginat and Roman Sorkin. The win was the second consecutive victory for Israel, having just defeated the SEC’s Auburn Tiger 95-86 in Tel Aviv.
