Image via Albany State Athletics Despite Albany State Lady Golden Rams leading for over half the game (57.2%) and forcing 33 turnovers, it proved not enough, as ASU fell in overtime to Tuskegee, 70-65.  The first quarter was a close affair that saw four ties and 5 lead changes. Tennessee State’s Aaron Nkrumah nabs another Player of the Week honor

For his on court exploits , Tennessee State guard Aaron Nkrumah was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week. In leading the Tigers to a 2-0 week the senior averaged 27.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals on .588/.833/.600 shooting splits.
