Jimmy Butler signs with Li-Ning

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has signed a multiyear signature shoe deal with Chinese brand Li-Ning, according to Nick DePaula of ESPN. DePaula adds that Butler will become the face of the brand, which also has a lifetime deal with Butler’s friend and former teammate, Dwyane Wade. Specific monetary terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Jimmy Butler to miss game against Cavs due to personal reasons

Miami Heat All-Star Jimmy Butler will not be on the court when the Heat take on the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday night. According to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel and other sources, Butler is missing the game due to personal reasons. On the season, which is proving to be an expectation exceeding one, Butler is averaging 20.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists.

Jimmy Butler and Jordan Brand part ways

According to ESPN’s Nick DePaula, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler and Jordan Brand agreed to a mutual parting of ways. The deal was set to end September 30 and Butler is “expected to now begin discussions with multiple brands toward negotiating a new multiyear endorsement deal” , possibly getting something done before the All-Star break in February. According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Miami Heat head coach Eric Spoelstra says that Jimmy Butler will miss the team’s tilt against the Houston Rockets Wednesday night. This will be the fourth missed game for Butler this season. He missed the first game of the season and two others when he had his first child. So far this season Butler is averaging 18.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game.
