The preseason accolades keep piling up for Howard University defensive back Kenny Gallop Jr. Already previously named to four preseason All-America teams, the senior defensive back was named to the Phil Steele FCS Preseason All-America Team. The 2023 Aenea Williams Award winner was instrumental component of the MEAC’s second-best defense , a unit that surrendered 22.3 points per game, and helped the Bison secure their seecond consecutive MEAC title and their first ever berth in the Celebration Bowl. After being in the vault for over a decade, the “Black Toe” Air Jordan XIV is primed to make its latest retail return. PE Corner: North Carolina Football unveils PE Air Jordan 3 cleats

North Carolina football unveiled a Player Exclusive edition of an Air Jordan 3 cleat.  Borrowing its aesthetic from the “UNC” Air Jordan 3, they sport a white leather upper with elephant print overlays at the toe and wrapping the heel. University blue shows up on the three midfoot eyelets, Jumpman on the tongue, and likely the branding on the rear heel.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a university blue moderator plate.  At this time there is no indication of an impending retail release.  Images via uncfootball
