A pair of Golden Rams will take part in HBCU All-Star Dream Classic

title image via Albany State Athletics Albany State guard Reggie James and forward Jordan Simpson were selected to take part in the HBCU All-Star Dream Classic.  James, a 6’4” senior guard out of Trenton, NJ appeared in 20 games, 5 starts, and averaged 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per contest. Albany State predicted to finish fourth in SIAC East, Simpson and Parker named to all-Conference 1st Team

The SIAC announced their 2022-23 men’s basketball preseason ranking Thursday morning. The Golden Rams who went 7-10 overall and 4-7 last season and finished fifth in the Eadtern Division, were picked to finish fourth in the preseason pole, ranking behind Morehouse, Benedict, and Savannah State. West Virginia State guard Glen Abrams has been named BOXTOROW Division II Player of the Year.
