Whenever a team loses a ballgame, there is usually one or a multitude of things that team can point to as contributing to their defeat. Damian Lillard out for Game 5

An already daunting task has been made even more difficult as the Portland Trail Blazers will be with out their best player as they fight to continue their season in game 5 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Damian Lillard had an initial MRI on Monday that came back inconclusive but a subsequent on Tuesday confirmed the strain on the right knee. All-world Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis will take the court against the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night. According to the Los Angeles Times’ Andrew Greif, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said Davis would be in the starting lineup. Davis was poked in the eye in the team’s scrimmage against the Orlando Magic and sat out the team’s subsequent dress rehearsal against the Washington Wizards.
