Florida A&M football to hold open practice

From Florida A&M Communications : The Florida A&M University (FAMU) football program will hold an open practice on Saturday, April 3 at Bragg Memorial Stadium. The festivities will begin at 2 p.m.  Fans will be allowed to attend the event, but seating is limited due to construction on the East Side of the stadium and will need to continue practicing social distancing due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  The open practice will also be streamed live YouTube by searching Rattlers Boosters 2021 or by clicking the following link: https://bit.ly/31ACPm8

Delaware State v Delaware Football game to air on ESPN2

From the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference: Delaware-Delaware State football game scheduled for Saturday, April 10 at the Hornets’ Alumni Stadium, will now be televised live on ESPN2. From the MId-Eastern Athletic Cinference: The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference released its spring 2021 football schedule on Monday, a slate of games which reflect unique divisional scheduling due to some members opting out of playing in the spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The conference’s spring football regular season will kick off on Feb. 20, 2021 and will conclude on April 3. Former Bethune-Cookman Assistant Coach Chris Issac passes at age 61

via Bethune-Cookman Athletic Communications: DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Athletics has learned that former football assistant coach Chris Isaac, who also enjoyed unmatched success playing on every level of football, has passed away at the age of 61. Isaac coached at Bethune-Cookman from 1996-2002 and 2004-07, overseeing the wide receivers.
