Klay Thompson out for season with torn Achilles

Sad news out of Warrior land. From Jenna Ciccotelli of Bleacher Report: The Golden State Warriors announced Thursday that guard Klay Thompson is expected to miss his second straight season because of a leg injury. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported Thompson tore his Achilles during a workout Wednesday, though he is expected to make a full recovery. He missed the 2019-20 season after he tore the ACL in his left knee during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Giannis Antetokounmpo out for Game 5

When the Milwaukee Bucks take to the court to fight to extend their season another 48 hours, they will do so with out their best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. According to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania, the Bucks forward will miss game 5. The Greek Freak injured his right ankle in game 4 and was in a walking boot.

The Milwaukee Bucks staved off elimination against the Miami Heat after Giannis Antetokounmpo went down with an ankle injury. He left the arena after Game 4 in a walking boot and it appears his status for tonight’s season-extending game will literally be a game time decision, as Giannis arrived for game 5, still wearing the aforementioned walking boot.

Damian Lillard likely out for a potential game 6

Should the Portland Trail Blazers manage your defeat the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night in game 5 of their opening round playoff series, they would likely head into a game 6 still without Damian Lillard, according to Chris Haynes OG Yahoo Sports. Bucks close practice facility amid COVID-19 test results

According to reporting from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucks have closed their practice facility after the team received results of recent round of COVID-19 tests. The NBA testing protocol heading into the resuming of the season in Orlando is spread over six phases.
