Saturday the Alcorn State University Braves and the North Carolina A&T Aggies will meet in the 4th annual Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl to determine HBCU football supremacy.  Alcorn State heads into the contest after an exciting defeat of Southern University 37-28 in the SWAC championship game. North Carolina A&T defeats Jacksonville State University 20-17 in FCS Kickoff game

Although it was pretty at times, North Carolina A&T managed to hang on to defeat Jacksonville State, 20-17 in the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff. Aggies’ quarterback Lamar Raynard did not look like himself and struggled, completing only 12 of his 34 passes for 111 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
