NFL teams were notified Sunday that Goodell has finalized a new four-season contract extension that will keep him in the commissioner’s office through the 2030 NFL season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The new agreement will expire on March 31, 2031. Goodell has served as NFL commissioner since 2006, when he succeeded Paul Tagliabue.
