Vans Anaheim Factory to launch “Summer Leaf” Pack

Alongside their “Red Stripes” Pack, Vans Anaheim Factory will also be dropping a brand spanking new “Summer Leaf” pack.  The pack consists of the Vans Era 95 DX and Sk8-Hi 38 DX silhouettes. Both sneakers feature either a complete or nearly a total black canvas build at the upper with pink palm trees. A sail vulcanized sole finishes the look of this sneaker.  These are expected to drop later this summer at vans.com and select retail establishments.

These Fucking Awesome Vans are releasing later this month

Skate and clothing brand Fucking Awesome is working with Vans on a five color collection of the Authentic C Pro sneaker. Coming in Black, Green Orange, Red, and White, each shoe sports Fucking Awesome graphic branding on the forefoot and heel overlays. Metallic eyelets, a vulcanized midsole that will be white or black (defending on the colorway) and gum rubber outsole completes the look of these shoes. Vans sues Target over alleged stolen design

Skate brand Vans has sued Target. The “target of the suit ( pun only slightly intended) is the retailer’s “Carmella Lace-Up “ from its in-house Wild Fable brand, which Vans says is a bit too similar to their classic Old Sokol sneakers. The lawsuit was filed Thursday and it seeks to collect all profit front the shoes. 500,000 pair of counterfeit Converse and Vans seized in east China

Police in east China’s Anhui Province destroyed half a million pair of knock-off Converse and Vans sneakers. Back in December 2015, police in the city of Bengbu received a tip alleging that counterfeit Converse sneakers that were being sold in some Middle Eastern countries may have been produced in the city. A task force was set up by police to investigate the matter. The deadly Carr fire has been ablaze since July 23. In that time it has destroyed more than 214,000 acres and claimed over 1,000 homes. Although it is 71% contained, Cal Fire says there are still approximately 3,800 firefighters working to contain it. In light of this tragic event, Vans has stepped in to offer some help to victims.
