Winston-Salem State Lady Rams defeat Glenville State 88-71 to advance to Atlantic Region semis

Powered by 21 offensive rebounds and 14 three-pointers, the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State were able to defeat Glenville State 88-71 to advance to the semifinals of the Atlantic Region Tournament.  WSSU jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Wonder Nyoyock’s layup finally put Glenville on the board. Fayetteville State v Winston-Salem State matchup rescheduled

The much-anticipated contest between Fayetteville State and Winston Salem State, which was initially scheduled take place this weekend has been rescheduled due to the impending inclement weather that could be bearing down on the region.  The meeting is now slated to take place on Tuesday, January 27, with the women’s game tipping off at 6:00 p.m. EST, followed by the men’s contest at 8:00 pm.  Advance-purchased tickets will be honored.
