The defending CIAA champions continue to reload. Winston-Salem State University women’s basketball has added transfer guard Makyiah Ward out of the portal, giving head coach Tierra Terry another intriguing piece for the 2026-27 season. Ward arrives from Saint Francis University after spending her freshman campaign at the Division I level.
