This Air Max 98 is the second version to feature tear-away uppers.
It sports a white upper that features a print with tiny scissors as well a perforated pattern underneath the reflective pattern that envelops the shoe. Small tabs read “tear here” serve as the pathway to the multi-hued layer underneath.
Below this upper sits a white midsole that houses the full-length Air Max unit, while a white rubber outsole completes the aesthetic.
