Tennessee State’s Sutton to host volleyball camps

NASHVILLE- Your chance to be trained by an Ohio Valley Conference-winning head coach is here TSU head volleyball coach Donika Sutton is hosting nine summer sessions for girls aged six to 18. The camps start on July 7 and 8 with the blocking and defense sessions and finish on July 24-26 with the Elite Camp.

“We are excited to get a chance to train some up-and-coming volleyball players,” said Sutton. This is a way for the players and me to teach skills properly. Volleyball is tough, so it is important to start correctly.”

This past year, Sutton’s Tigers were picked to finish last in the preseason poll in the conference and won the postseason tournament earning the right to play in the NCAA Tournament. With an exciting group of recruits, the Tigers look to take another step this season to advance the program.
