Despite Jordan Brand’s actions, the Air Jordan I is cemented as one of the most iconic and influential sneakers ever. The black and red, mistakenly monikered “banned” , and the Royal are amongst the cream-of-the-crop colorways of this legendary silhouette and they will be making a return of sorts later this summer as the Sky Jordan, which is the air-less version of the shoe for children.
They will feature their familiar black and red and black and royal color blocking, respectively, but instead of laces will feature a Velcro enclosure emblazoned with the Wings logo. White midsoles and outsole with sections of red and blue for each colorway complete the look.
