Though Virgil Abloh has unfortunately departed this plane of existence, he continues to have an indelible impact on Nike and the sneaker landscape as a whole, as evidenced by this upcoming release.
This latest iteration of the Off-White x Air Jordan sports the well-known aesthetic of previous Off-White x Air Jordan 1 iterations, with this one sporting a largely white leather overlaying mesh at the side panels and tongue. White leather Swooshes adorn the lateral sides, with “Off-White for Nike ‘Air Jordan 1’ Beaverton, Oregon USA c. 1985” appearing on the leather side panels on the medial side. A stamped “Wings” logo appears in its typical location on the lateral collar, however, the “NIKE AIR” branded tongue label is not perched atop the tongue, but is positioned on the side.
Underneath resides a sail, “AIR” branded sail midsole, and matching rubber outsole.
This latest iteration of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to release on December 20.
