Tuskegee completes road trip with two conference games

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee men’s basketball will look to continue their winning ways with a pair of road Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) opponents in Kentucky State on Saturday before taking on Central State on Monday afternoon.

The Golden Tigers (11-4, 6-2 SIAC) have played well so far, going 5-2 in non-conference play, while winning their last four games, all against SIAC opponents. The matchups over the next few days will end a four-game road stint to start the calendar year for Tuskegee.

Kentucky State is coming in with a 7-3 overall record, including 6-1 in SIAC play so far. The Thorobreds are currently 4-1 inside of the William Exum Center and won their last game against Clark Atlanta 62-52 (Jan 4).

Meanwhile, Central State comes in at 4-9 overall, including a 3-2 mark at home. The Marauders are 4-4 in conference play and fell to Morehouse College 85-80 (Jan. 4) in Atlanta.
