The “White/Navy” was not the only planned joint effort Nike SB x Jordan Brand Air Jordan 4. There were plans for a “Varsity Red” iteration as well, but those plans have reportedly been scrapped.
They apparently would have sported a while upper with netting of the same hue on the sides and tongue. A grey overlay wraps the toe, while red shoes up on the ends of the lace tabs and the “Nike SB” branded rear heel.
A two-tone white and varsity red midsole, along with a Nike-branded gum and white rubber outsole would complete the aesthetic.
We certainly hope that Nike SB and Jordan Brand revisit the concept and this sneaker can see the light of day.
