The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week.
For women, La’Quanza Glover (Edward Waters) was named Player of the Week, while Imani Williams (Miles) earned Newcomer of the Week.
For men, Roger Davis (Miles) was named Player of the Week, while Raymon Adams (Central State) earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Women’s Basketball

Guard/Forward | Graduate Student | Jacksonville, Fla.
Glover scored 22 Points and 13 rebounds in a 107-55 win over Paine College.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK– Imani Williams, Miles
Forward | Freshman | Kankakee, IL
Williams averaged 10 points, 14 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 4.0 steals as Miles won both games of the Lady Bears Tip-Off Classic.

Davis scored 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting (3-of-7 3-pointers) as Miles opened the season with an 81-69 win over Oakwood.
NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK– Raymon Adams, Central State
Guard | Freshman | Nashville, TN
In his Central State debut, freshman combo guard Raymon Adams recorded 15 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals in CSU’s 73-67 win over Virginia-Lynchburg.
