After 20 years Nike is running back the “West Indies” Air Force 1 Low.
During its initial run it was one of four colourways that dropped from 2002-05 that coincided ith the West Indian Day Parade Carnival that takes place every year on the first Monday of September in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood.
The 2022 version looks to replicate its 2002 progenitor I sporting a white leather upper, with classic green showing up on the rear heel overlay and inner. “West Indies” is present on the lateral heel, tongue tags and lace dubraes. The insoles feature a graphic depicting the names of the Caribbean islands.
Underneath resides a white midsole and green rubber outsole.
The “West Indies” Nike Air Force 1 Low is scheduled to return August 26 via SNKRS, which means those who actually want these have a snowball’s chance in Hades of obtaining them. They will carry a 150 USD sticker price.
