This Lebron 16 pays homage to the Tech Challenge II

Continuing a trend seen on other LeBron 16s and previous models, this upcoming colorway pays homage to a classic shoe from Nike’s past.  This upcoming Lebron 16 is a tribute to the “hot lava” colorway of the Tech Challenge 2 that was worn by Andre Agassi back in the day. Pacers’ Tyreke Evans banned from NBA for two years over Anti-Drug Policy

Indiana Pacers guard Tyreke Evans has been put out of the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug policy, according to a statement released by the team.  Per Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype that Evans will be eligible for reinstatement in two years.  Though he has never been suspended for drug-related issues somehow this instance warranted a two-year ban. This past year with the Pacers, Evans averaged 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assist per game. For his career he has posted numbers of 15.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per…

This Dunk is part of the second Orange Label launch, a series of shoes from Nike SB that pays homage to various skate shop around the country. Last seen in 2009, as part of the original Kobe IV roster, the “Del Sol” colorway is returning, this time as an updated Protro. This flipped upper features sections of sail at the heel and forefoot overlaid by white at the midfoot. Though no images of the sneaker at this juncture, but it reportedly does utilize a Grape Ice, Black, Clear and New Emerald color palette.
