This Black and Red AE 2 sample needs to release

Initially I was down on the aesthetic of the AE 2, however after seeing the images of the royal colorway my stance on the silhouette started to soften. After seeing this black and red look, I’ve completely come around to appreciating the silhouette and its potential.  It features a black synthetic cage that comprises the upper. Check out the “Triple Black” Adidas AE 2

Although I’m not sure about the performance capabilities as compared to its predecessor, however from an aesthetic standpoint, the AE2 is a step back.  It sports a black TPU upper with only the red AE logo on the tongue offering the only bit of visual variety from the otherwise monochromatic appearance. The same AE logo appears on the tongue, while black appears at the rubber outsole, rounding out the single-hued look.  More information to come on these as it avails itself.  images via allinlivee

Donovan Mitchell’s new shoe coming July 5

Adidas officially introduced the world to the newest signature of, for the time being, Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell, the D.O.N. Issue 6.  Each of the four depicted colorways sport textile and mesh uppers with Three Stripes branding on the sides along with reflective detailing at the forefoot. A Spida logo is seen on the tongue pull tab, with additional Adidas branding seen on the toe. Could we be looking at the Adidas Harden 9?

Images of the progression of James Harden’s signature line, the Harden 9 have come to light. The depicted sneaker is black and silver and it appears the support features of the upper seen on the Harden 8 have been expanded into a shell that overlaid atop the synthetic upper. Take a look at these sample colors of the AE2

We recently reported on images that emerged of the second signature sneaker of Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and pictures of three additional sample colorways have come to light.  The images depict three nearly monochromatic sneakers- orange, black and one light mint.
