This future color way of the Anthony Edwards 2 sports a black mesh foundational layer overlaid with TPU of the same hue. PE Corner: “Golden Medal” Adidas AE 1

This AE 1 was made for now Olympic gold medalist, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. They sport a black textile upper paired with lustrous gold, with the same/ golden detailing appearing on the Adidas Three Stripes branding on the rear heel as well as the AE logo on the tongue. “XMAS” Adidas AE 1 Low Sample

This sample iteration of the Adidas AE 1 Low sports a winter blue upper spread across its textile and synthetic upper. Adidas Three Stripes branding is seen on the rear heel,along with “AE” in script appears on the back of the front pull tab. Underneath this largely monochromatic upper resides a Boost midsole augmented with Lightstrike cushioning. A herringbone winter blue rubber outsole rounds out this mostly single hued aesthetic. We have written several articles highlighting a sneaker that was being touted as the AE 2. However, that may not be the case, as there has been no confirmation as to the true identity of this now mystery sneaker. We currently await the answer to An inquiry that was made to Adidas regarding the status of this sneaker.
