Kevin Durant was not the only player in the Suns/Timberwolves series that broke out new shoes. Minnesota’s best player, Anthony Edwards, while not debuting a brand new silhouette, introduced the world to a new collar height of his current model, the Adidas AE1.  The “Mural” AE1 Low sports a black textile upper that is paired with TPU that offers support and lends to breathabilty. The first signature shoe of the best player on the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards ( yes, I said it), was introduced to the world recently. Called the AE 1, it sports a flexible knit upper with a molded TPU overlay designed with support in mind, while also providing ventilation. Edwards’ initials, “AE” appears on the tongue , along with Three Stripes branding on the rear heel. The Klutch Sports client roster is quite impressive, as it contains, NBA Champions, MVPs, perennial All-Stars and up-and coming star players. Initial images of the freshman signature shoe , the Adidas Anthony Edwards 1, of up-and-coming Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards have emerged. The creation of the sneaker was a clause in Edwards’ dealwith Adidas that would kick in should be make an All-Star team, which he did in 2023. What can be glaned from these pictures is a shoe with a black upper largely sheathed within a blue synthetic material. “Discouraging” Pro Day could hurt Edwards’ draft stock

From Bleacher Report’s Rob Goldberg: Anthony Edwards has been considered a potential No. 1 pick for the 2020 NBA draft on Nov. 18, but his televised pro day on Oct. 29 might have hurt his stock. According to Jonathan Givony of ESPN, “multiple front offices were somewhat discouraged watching Edwards” during his pro day because of his “sluggishness and inconsistencies with his jump shot.” Some have reportedly been concerned the Georgia guard has a low likelihood of reaching his potential, and his pro day didn’t help silence the criticism.
