The adidas AE 3 has received another official look, giving sneaker fans a closer look at the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar’s third signature basketball sneaker with the Three Stripes.
The AE 3 continues the evolution of Edwards’ footwear line while introducing a noticeably different design language. The low-cut silhouette features a mesh-based upper and aggressive sidewall detailing, with arrow-inspired structures replacing the honeycomb cage of the AE 1 and the fang-like elements seen on the AE 2.
Performance-wise, adult versions are expected to feature adidas’ Lightstrike cushioning, while the shoe’s overall construction is built around containment and quick movement on the court.
The AE 3 has already made appearances during Edwards’ overseas “Believe That” Tour, including his stop in the Philippines. A “Bliss Blue” colorway has also surfaced ahead of the official launch.
The adidas AE 3 is currently expected to debut on September 15, 2026, with the “Cold Blooded” colorway reportedly leading the launch at a retail price of $130.
With the AE 1 establishing Edwards as one of adidas Basketball’s biggest signature athletes and the AE 2 continuing that momentum, the AE 3 has plenty to live up to.
