Sophie Cunningham is officially getting her first retail sneaker release with adidas.
The Phoenix Mercury guard’s adidas Crazy Energy Player Exclusive (PE) is set to hit shelves on July 24 with a retail price of $120, marking a milestone in Cunningham’s growing partnership with the Three Stripes and adding another notable WNBA athlete to adidas Basketball’s expanding roster of player-exclusive releases.
The vibrant colorway features a bold pink gradient upper that transitions from a lighter shade in the forefoot to a deeper hue toward the heel. Black accents on the Three Stripes branding, tongue, and lining provide contrast, while a crisp white midsole and translucent outsole complete the design.
Beyond its eye-catching appearance, the sneaker includes personal details that reflect Cunningham’s personality and style, making the release more than just another performance basketball shoe. The Crazy Energy has quickly become one of adidas Basketball’s newest on-court models, and Cunningham’s PE gives the silhouette one of its most recognizable colorways to date.
The release comes as interest in WNBA player-exclusive footwear continues to grow. With more women’s basketball stars receiving signature shoes and retail PEs, adidas is further investing in athletes whose impact extends beyond the court.
The adidas Crazy Energy “Sophie Cunningham” will release on July 24 through adidas and select adidas Basketball retailers for $120.
