Southern defeats Texas Southern 28-21
From Southern University Media Relations: DALLAS, TX — Glendon McDaniel threw three touchdown passes, two of them in a decisive third quarter and Southern defeated Texas Southern in the State Fair Showdown on Saturday. After the score was tied at 7 at halftime, McDaniel connected with Jamar Washington for 35 yards and Hunter Register for 31 yards and a 21-7 Jaguars lead heading into the fourth quarter.
