Sixers ship Al Horford to OKC for Danny Green and picks

From Tyler Conway of B/R: A year after inking him to a four-year, $109 million contract, the Philadelphia 76ers are moving on from Al Horford. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Sixers traded the 34-year-old, along with a “lightly-protected” 2025 first-round draft pick and the No. 34 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Danny Green and Terrence Ferguson.  Wojnarowski added that Oklahoma City will also receive the rights to Vasilije Micic, who currently plays in Turkey and was drafted No. 54 overall by Philadelphia in 2014.   This…

Wichita State’s Gregg Marshall resigns after abuse investigation

From Jeff Borzello of ESPN: Wichita State basketball coach Gregg Marshall has resigned following an internal investigation into allegations of physical and verbal abuse, the school announced Tuesday. Knicks move up to No.23 with trade with Jazz

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the New York Knicks and Utah Jazz have engaged in deal that will move the Knicks up in Wednesday’s NBA Draft. The Knicks are sending their No. 27 and No. 38 picks to the Jazz in exchange for the No. 23 picks. As icing on the cake, Utah is sending over the the draft rights to 2008 second-round pick Ante Tomic, 33, who is not expected to come to the NBA. The Knicks now have the No.8 and No. 23 selections.
