Former Howard golfer Gregory Odom Jr. gets APGA win

title image via Jalisa Fulwood Courtesy of Howard University Athletics Former Howard University standout Gregory Odom Jr. (Memphis, Tenn.) won the 2024 Mastercard APGA Tour Championship, held at TPC Sugarloaf (par-72, 7,259 yards) in Duluth, Ga. Odom topped the 48-player field with an incredible performance, firing 15-under par (129) during the 36-hole event. After shooting 6-under par (66) in round one, he closed out the tourney with a 9-under par (63) effort, including nine birdies in the final round. This Sabrina 2 can be seen on the feet of the talent at the Elite Youth Basketball League.  They sport a pink mesh foundational layer overlaid with lilac canvas at the forefoot and eyestays. PE Corner: An initial look at the “EYBL” Air Jordan 11 Low IE

Take a look at ”EYBL” Nike Kobe VIII Protro

These Kobe VIII Protros were part of the fleet of sneakers made for young basketballers of the Elite Youth Basketball League.  They sport a pastel pink knit upper that gives way to white closer to the midsole and heel counter. On the tongue, an EYBL logo can be seen, while on the medial heel, reads “EYBL FAM REUNION.” Black shows up on the large Swoosh on the lateral side, smaller such branding on the medial side, and the Kobe iconography present at the rear heel and external heel counter, respectively.…

title image via XULA Volleyball NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana announced Monday its 2024 women’s volleyball schedule, which includes 30 regular-season matches, eight against teams that qualified for 2023 NAIA nationals, and the return of XULA’s Big Easy Blastoff.       XULA will begin its 17th season with four matches Aug. 23-24 in the Onset Invitational at Fort Wayne, Ind.
