Morgan State’s Richardson Library evacuated due to bomb threat. According to s statement released by the University, “an email threat indicating a potential explosive device in the Richardson Library.” The statement also indicates that a floor by floor search of the building by law enforcement is taking place. Student and staff are employed to stay clear of the library and report any suspicious activity to authorities. Unfortunately Morgan State was not the only target of these unknown degenerates, as a similar threat was also called in at Towson University.

Jackson State tabbed HBCU FCS Team of the Week.
Jackson State was named the HBCU FCS Team of the week. In the team’s most recent outing, Jackson State defeated Southern 38-13 in the BoomBox Classic, shutting out the Jags in the second half. It was Jackson State’s seventh consecutive win over its Baton Rouge-based rivals. The Tigers also have been ranked No.1 in Dr. Cavil’s Inside the HBCU Sports Lab top 7 poll rankings for 11 consecutive weeks.

In the Tigers’ 38-13 win over Southern in the BoomBox Classic, the grad student had his most statistically prolific game of the year. Morgan completed 21 of 31 passes for 337 yards, 2 touchdowns, of 51 and 82 yards respectively, and no interceptions.
