The wait is almost over.
The 2026 “Space Jam” Air Jordan XI is officially scheduled to release December 12, 2026, according to the latest release information from @zsneakerheadz.
The highly anticipated retro will reportedly be available in full-family sizing, giving sneakerheads of all ages an opportunity to add one of the most recognizable Air Jordan colorways to their collection.
The “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 needs little introduction. Michael Jordan famously wore the silhouette in the 1996 film Space Jam, helping turn the black-and-royal colorway into one of the most recognizable sneakers in basketball history. The shoe has since received major retro releases, including in 2000, 2009 and 2016.
Now, a decade after the 2016 retro, the “Space Jam” is coming back.
And considering the Air Jordan 11’s popularity and the enormous nostalgia surrounding Space Jam, this could easily become one of the biggest sneaker releases of 2026.
