The college football community is mourning the loss of Ball State freshman defensive back Gavin Yates-Lyons, who passed away at just 18 years old after succumbing to injuries sustained in a shooting in Tallahassee, Florida. Yates-Lyons had recently taken a major step toward realizing his football dreams.
