Along with a black and gold pair of the same theme, this Air Trainer 1 pays homage to the College Football Playoffs.
It sports a white leather foundational layer with nubuck sections present on the toe, midfoot and eye rows. Velcro wraps the heel and can be the home for detachable patches. A chiselled, textured Swoosh adorns the lateral side, with additional gold branding present on the aforementioned Velcro heel. Metallic gold is present on an underlay on the rear heel. Gold once again shows up on the inner, with the logo of the College Football Playoff present on the insole.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a gold striped white midsole and a white and gold rubber outsole.
This iteration of the “College Football Playoff” Air Trainer 1 is planned to debut sometime over the course of the coming months at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 140 USD sticker price .
