Others included in the East, 14 seed Stephen F. Austin bouncing 3 seed West Virginia 70-56; in the South, 13 seed Hawaii ended California’s tournament,77-66. In the West bracket, 11 seed Northern Iowa defeated Texas , 75-72 on a half court heave at the end of regulation by Paul Jesperson that will no doubt go down as of the most memorable shots in tournament history.
