A pair of Golden Rams will take part in HBCU All-Star Dream Classic

Albany State guard Reggie James and forward Jordan Simpson were selected to take part in the HBCU All-Star Dream Classic. 

James, a 6’4” senior guard out of Trenton, NJ appeared in 20 games, 5 starts, and averaged 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per contest. His season-high 13 points came in a 67-65 win over Edward Waters on January 13. 

Simpson was the Golden Rams’ leading rebounder, pulling down 10.9 boards per contest, with a season-best 17 coming in 79-77 nail iter over Edward Waters on February 26. The 10.5 points per game for the 6’9” forward was the third-highest on the team. 

Taking place at the historic Rucker Park on August 10, the HBCU All-Star Dream Classic is a showcase for top HBCU players who are now eligible to enter the NBA, WNBA, Big 3, ABA, NBL, and other leagues around the globe.
