AD Goff also said the University’s focus will be securing a head coach whopossesses the vision and leadership capabilities to lift the program not only to the upper class ofthe SWAC, but FCS football as well.
.McDowell, 58, has served as the Panthers’ head coach since 2022, recording a 17-17 overall record and 14-9.
A national search for a new head coach will commence forthwith; in the meantime, assistant Ashton Green will serve as interim head coach.
