As Caitlin Clark went through her pregame work before the Indiana Fever take on the Washington Mystics Wednesday evening, she did so with a brand new Kobe V Protro on her feet.
This never before seen player exclusive iteration of the Kobe V Protro has been dubbed “Midwest Lakes” and features a light blue and university blue fused upper adorned on the sides with royal blue-bordered white Swooshes.
Royal also shows up at the inner, as well as the Kobe signature on the external heel counter; additional university blue takes care of the mesh that wraps the heel.
Underneath resides a light blue and university blue midsole, as well as a university blue rubber outsole.
Although at this juncture these resides in the oft untouchable realm of player exclusives, that may not always be the case, as Nike has shown a willingness to make Clark’s iteration of Kobe V Protros available to the masses.
Let us hope this is the latest to make that transition.
