The 2026 “Flint” Air Jordan XIII: Beauty shots

The wait is nearly over for sneaker enthusiasts and Jordan collectors alike.

One of the most celebrated colorways in the history of the Jordan Brand catalog is making its return as the 2026 edition of the “Flint” Air Jordan XIII is set to release on August 1 in full-family sizing.

Recently released beauty shots offer a detailed look at the upcoming retro, showcasing the familiar combination of navy blue, white, and Flint Grey that helped cement the sneaker’s status as an all-time classic. The latest version appears to remain faithful to the original design, preserving the signature reflective mesh upper, premium suede overlays, and holographic “cat eye” emblem that have made the Flint 13 a fan favorite for nearly three decades.

Originally introduced in 1998 as part of the original Air Jordan 13 lineup, the Flint colorway quickly distinguished itself from the pack. While many Air Jordan releases relied on bold Chicago Bulls-inspired color schemes, the Flint offered a more understated aesthetic that paired easily with everyday wear while still delivering unmistakable Jordan DNA.

The silhouette itself carries significant historical importance. Designed by legendary footwear designer Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan XIII drew inspiration from a panther, reflected in the shoe’s paw-like outsole, streamlined shape, and holographic eye. It was also one of the final models worn by Michael Jordan during his championship run with the Chicago Bulls.

The ”Flint” XIII has seen several retro releases over the years, but demand has remained consistently strong. Its combination of historical significance, wearability, and nostalgic appeal continues to make it one of the most sought-after Air Jordan XIII colorways ever produced.

With Jordan Brand bringing the sneaker back in full-family sizing, longtime collectors and a new generation of sneaker enthusiasts alike will have an opportunity to add the iconic pair to their rotation when it arrives on August 1. They will be available at nike.com select Jordan Brand establishments; they will carry a 215 USD sticker price.
