Quinten Post Signs Three-Year, $30 Million Offer Sheet With Memphis Grizzlies; Warriors Have Final Say

The Memphis Grizzlies are making a play for one of the NBA’s emerging stretch big men.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, restricted free agent Quinten Post has agreed to a three-year, $30 million offer sheet with the Grizzlies. The Golden State Warriors now have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday to decide whether to match the offer and retain the 7-footer or allow him to head to Memphis.

The 26-year-old center continued to develop into a valuable rotational piece for Golden State during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 67 games while showcasing his ability to stretch the floor from beyond the arc. Since being selected with the 52nd overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Post has emerged as one of the league’s more intriguing young floor-spacing centers.

For Memphis, the move signals an effort to bolster its frontcourt with another versatile big capable of complementing its interior rotation. At an average annual value of $10 million, the offer represents a significant investment in Post’s long-term upside.

The Warriors, meanwhile, face a difficult financial decision. Matching the offer would keep a promising young center in the fold but could further complicate Golden State’s offseason flexibility as it continues shaping its roster.

If the Warriors decline to match before Tuesday night’s deadline, Post will officially become a member of the Grizzlies.
