Jordan Brand is bringing back one of the most iconic Air Jordan XI colorways ever with the return of the “Space Jam” Air Jordan XI in 2026.
The upcoming retro has received an official look, revealing several details that should make this year’s release particularly appealing to longtime Air Jordan XI fans.
The 2026 “Space Jam” features a black ballistic mesh upper paired with a higher-cut black patent leather rand, bringing the construction closer to the original aesthetic associated with the beloved colorway.
Adding another notable touch, Varsity Royal accents the Jumpman branding on the lateral ankle and tongue. That’s a departure from the Concord-colored Jumpman branding featured on the most recent iteration.
The tongue also gets an important retro-inspired detail. Rather than simply carrying the standard Jumpman branding, the 2026 version features “JUMPMAN JAM” across the tongue. That detail aligns the upcoming release with the 2001 and 2009 versions of the “Space Jam” Air Jordan XI
A white midsole sits underneath the upper, while a blue-tinted translucent rubber outsole completes the signature “Space Jam” look.
The 2026 edition also appears positioned as a major holiday release. According to the current release information, the sneakers are scheduled to launch on December 12, 2026, in full-family sizing with a $235 retail price for the men’s pair.
Adding to the nostalgia is the reported Michael Jordan face box packaging, while the release is expected to be a super-general release, potentially giving consumers plenty of opportunities to pick up a pair.
